Swedish talent Joline Scheffler makes her 2nd appearance in quick succession on 'made of Concrete'. Here, she follows up her 'We The Artists' EP with 'Afterglow'; a 3 track record demonstrating the fruits of of her time spent collecting esoteric records from obscure pockets of Electronic music.

'Afterglow' kicks things off with an incredibly expressive production. Highly astute sound design and delicately managed dynamics work together to evoke a visceral response from the listener. Golden Rhodes chords are dropped into a well of reverberated signals while a rounded kick drums maintain buoyancy.

'Tjusning' follows up with a more direct blow. Jagged stabs, airy hats and rich, filtered stabs render a smokey, flickering vision perfectly suited to a packed and dimly lit floor. 'Amorphous' finishes up the record with a highly effective tool, reduced to a few raw elements. Progress is derived from parameters as gentle tweaks to delays and filters keep tones morphing and melting throughout.
